“Gospel Trumpets” is an indigenous, inter-denominational, charitable organization. It is governed by a board of dedicated men and women. Gospel Trumpets is committed to share the love and compassion of God through word and deed. Gospel Trumpets is involved in social, economical, educational and other development activities among the poorest of the poor. The goal of Gospel Trumpets ministry is to build up confidence, generate hope and encourage them to live dignified lives in the society.
The history of Gospel Trumpets is the story of God using an ordinary couple in an extraordinary way. Gospel Trumpets was born in 1979, though prior to that the Founder/Director and his team labored in many villages without a banner of recognition. Since then the ministry has grown in leaps and bounds catering to hundreds of people in need through various projects.
Our Projects
Care for Lepers
GT visits their community on a regular basis and spends time with them in knowing their concerns and sharing the love of God. We provide them with blankets, clothes, food and occasional gifts for their children. Every month, GT provides financial aid for40 families and has opened a savings account for their children’s bright future.
Tribal Ministry
GT works among Banjara / Lambadi, a nomadic tribe living in Panduranganagar (Hyderguda) and Vadderas (stone cutters) are a backward caste living in Hanumannagar (Himayathnagar) in impoverished and unenlightened conditions. GT serves these families by enrolling their children in two of our child projects Grace Educational Academy and Sophia Child Development Center.
Sophia Child Development
At SCDC, around 221 children are nurtured physically and academically, regular tuitions (extra classes), nutritious food, extra-curricular activities are a part of the child’s regular day at the center. Cultural activities, picnics, field trips, talent shows, sports events, awareness programs, medical camps, personality development classes are part of their curriculum.
Grace Educational Academy
A primary educational center, Grace Educational Academy was started in 2011 with a humble beginning of 25 children. GT’s main concern was to educate the underprivileged children living in utter poverty with basic education, healthy habits and cleanliness.
Tabita Trailoring Center
Gospel Trumpets has a God given burden for the financially deprived, poverty stricken women, single mothers and widows living in the near surroundings. Tabitha Tailoring Center is one such project which provides free sewing and tailoring skill development to make women self- employed and independent. A group of 15 women are trained under a professional trainer who teaches them various sewing methods and tailoring techniques. Women here are taught stitching, embroidery and soft toy making.
DORCAS WIDOWS PROJECT
Dorcas widow project mainly caters to widows living in Shamshabad, Wanaparthy, Chittiyala. These women are abandoned by their families and are left to tend to themselves. A monthly aid is provided for their better living. Gospel Trumpets also visits these women personally to know their needs and make them feel cared.
