The history of Gospel Trumpets is the story of God using an ordinary couple in an extraordinary way. The Gospel Trumpets was established in 1989 by Founder Director Dr. G.S. Vijay Bhushanam. Even before 1989, i.e. from 1976 working as Deputy Engineer, Rigs Workshop, Panchayati Raj Engineering Department, Uppal, Hyderabad he devoted all his free time to the service of the down-trodden and less fortunate people in different districts of Andhra Pradesh. He gladly laid down his pen when God called him for full time ministry in 1996 and took voluntary retirement from the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. . He was favored with the support of his entire family and a team of dedicated workers who went out with him willingly to uplift the poor and under-privileged stratum of society.
